Five years behind a jewellery counter
For years, our co-founder Bhawna worked in jewellery retail, meeting women every day who dreamed of owning beautiful gold jewellery. She saw customers stretch their budgets, use credit cards, dip into savings, and sometimes even take loans simply because they wanted to wear something special and feel confident.
She understood that feeling personally. Coming from a modest family, Bhawna knew what it was like to admire beautiful jewellery while knowing that expensive gold pieces were not always practical or affordable.
The thought that kept returning
Standing behind the counter every day, one thought kept coming back to her: there should be another choice. Jewellery that looks elegant without costing a fortune. Jewellery light enough for a full working day. Jewellery a woman can wear to the office, a meeting, dinner, a celebration - or simply because she feels like dressing up. Most importantly, jewellery that lets her enjoy her style without guilt, debt, or compromise.
That idea stayed with her for years. Life moved forward - she got married, built a family, kept working, and waited for the right moment to create something of her own. Five years later, that dream became SheeVee.
