Ganeshotsav 2026 runs from Monday 14 September to Friday 25 September. Ten days which, because of where they fall, cover two complete working weeks.
If your office keeps an idol, or your building does, or your family does and you leave for aarti straight from work, you are not dressing for one occasion. You are keeping something slightly festive running for a fortnight without repeating yourself into boredom or spending a fortune.
Five pieces, ten days
The trick is not owning ten things. It is owning five that recombine.
