Flat by design
Bracelets fail on comfort more than looks. Anything with height catches on sleeves, snags knitwear and digs in while typing. These discs sit flush against the wrist, which is why this is a bracelet you can keep on through a working day rather than one you take off by lunch.
Two discs, not one
A single charm sits wherever gravity puts it — usually rotated out of view under the wrist. Two spaced discs keep the piece visually balanced whichever way the chain settles, so it looks intentional without adjustment.
Layering it
- With a watch: wear on the opposite wrist, or on the same wrist above the watch face — never trapped underneath, where it will scratch both.
- With other bracelets: vary chain thickness. Two fine chains read as a tangle; a fine chain plus one wider band reads as styling.
- With sleeves: flat discs mean it works under a kurti or shirt cuff without a bulge.
Care that actually helps
Wrists sweat, and sweat is mildly acidic — it is the main thing working against plated finishes. Wipe the bracelet with a dry cloth at the end of the day before storing it. Take it off for workouts, swimming and dishes. Our home cleaning guide covers what to use and, more usefully, what to keep away from plating.
Good to know
Fashion jewellery in a gold tone, made for regular wear. Clasps are the part most likely to need care over time — open and close them deliberately rather than stretching the chain over your hand.
